You can dispose of old prescription medication at the Bountiful City Police Department.  Once you’re inside our lobby, you will see our medication disposal box.  All you need to do is place your medication into the secure box, and the police department will dispose of it properly.  You can drop off medication anytime, as our lobby is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  This collection bin is only for household use, and is only for medication.  See below for sharps and other waste.

*Due to the high volume of medication we receive, it would be helpful if large pill containers were emptied into one air tight plastic bag, and make sure any liquid medications are sealed and won’t leak.  Please dispose of your vitamins and supplements in the trash, in order to leave room for more prescription medication in our disposal box.*
